Contour Engineering PLLC, provides all required professional and technical expertise from in-house resources. Each project will be staffed by professionals who have developed the necessary experience and expertise to complete each project based on that projects specific scope.

Principal, Brett M. Allen PE
Brett is the founding Principal of Contour Engineering PLLC, which was formed in 2006. He graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a degree in Geological Engineering in 1996. He worked briefly in the mining industry in Alaska before concentrating on civil and geotechnical engineering consulting in the Puget Sound region. He has been working within the land development industry in the Puget Sound from 1998 and has an extensive working knowledge of local practices of land planning and civil engineering requirements of jurisdictions in western Washington.

Brett has performed tasks as both a land planner and a civil engineer as part of his tasks on the many projects that he has worked on. His experience is varied from working on private and public road improvements for residential developments to Public sewer lift station design. His has extensive experience as a project lead and has an overall knowledge of development practices including issues dealing with traffic, storm water, geotechnical issues, land planning issues, SEPA etc.

5 commercial retail buildings including Autozone.  Accomplished onsite and offsite civil designs for project site.  Site is currently fully functional.

Graham Walgreens, Pierce County
Commercial shell building designed to Walgreen Corporation standards.  Required extreme frontage improvements as well as 1200 foot long storm drain extension from project site to a regional infiltration panel.

19th Street Short Plat, Tacoma, WA
15-lot high density plat in city of Tacoma.  Included onsite grading permit and work order improvements for alley and public roads fronting the project.
